Oompa is a Boston-born rapper, poet, vocalist, educator, entrepreneur,  and creative director whose work transforms survival, ambition, grief, and brilliance into emotionally generous hip-hop. Boston Magazine’s 150 Most Influential Bostonians, a nationally acclaimed poet and oerformer, NPR Slingshot Artist to Watch, Boston Music Award winner, Boston Calling and Celtics halftime performer, Oompa represents the outlaws and outliers who find home.

She is the founder of Outlaud and Cultrx, a cultural and tech company both aimed at creating sustainable livelihoods for creatives and cultural workers.

POODLE

Naomi Westwater (they/them/she) is a Black, queer singer-songwriter from Massachusetts. Their work combines folk-rock music, poetry, and spirituality. Their hope is that through ritual and storytelling they can aid nature in the end of capitalism and the return to community, creativity, and collective joy.

SQUIRREL

Evan Greer is a trans and queer activist, writer, and musician based in Boston. When she’s not playing queer anarcho-indie-punk music, she's the director of digital rights group Fight for the Future and writes regularly about the intersection of tech policy and human rights for the Washington Post, Time, NBC News, Wired, and CNN. Her last album Spotify is Surveillance was released by Don Giovanni Records and Get Better Records and featured by NPR, Rolling Stone and Pitchfork. Her pre-streaming era debut album, Never Surrender, was beloved in the early 2000s folk-punk scene with underground “hits” like the “Picket Line Song” and “I Want Something.” Over the years she's shared stages and collaborated with Pete Seeger, Dead Prez, Against Me!, Talib Kweli, Ted Leo, Speedy Ortiz, Anjimile, The Blow, Eve 6, Chumbawamba, Ezra Furman, Immortal Technique, Mirah, Oi Polloi, Mischief Brew, and Billy Bragg.

BEAGLE

Anju is a vocalist, songwriter, producer, and performer shaped by the people and places in Massachusetts and Minnesota. Her music conjures imaginary lovers, scents of citrus, and visions of hairy brown skin under the sun. 

Anju’s work has been highlighted by NPR’s All Songs Considered, Rolling Stone India, WGBH, and Minnesota Public Radio’s The Current. She was an inaugural member of Club Passim’s Folk Collective, an artist-fellow at Antenna Cloud Farm’s Experimental Institute, and a member of New Amsterdam Records’ Composer’s Lab. Anju aspires to co-create a musical space for feeling, healing, and repair.

DACHSHUND GOLDEN MIX

Cliff Notez’s work has caught the attention of publications like The New York Times, NPR, The Boston Globe, and Boston Herald, among others and have garnered shoutouts from the likes of Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley. They performed at Boston Calling Music Festival in 2022 and have previously shared the stage with Ja Rule and Gym Class Heroes. Cliff Had their first solo art Exhibition at the Dorchester Art Project in 2020, then Followed it up with a solo show at FPAC assemblage in 2022 on the Boston’s Seaport.  

In 2024, Cliff Notez founded the We Black Folk Initiative, a groundbreaking movement dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and innovating within the rich traditions of Black folk music and culture. Rooted in storytelling, community, and the deep historical lineage of Black artistry, We Black Folk provides platforms for intergenerational connection through music, performance, and education. With four core programs—Griot Gatherings, Cultural Crossroads, Rhythm & Roots, and the Kinfolk Fellowship—the initiative builds spaces for Black artists and audiences to engage with folk traditions in ways that are both contemporary and ancestral. Under Cliff’s leadership, We Black Folk has quickly become a vital force in redefining folk music to reflect the full spectrum of the African diaspora, ensuring that Black voices remain central to the narratives that shape American music history.

bog berries looks to create music that is strange and catchy. Songs that are immediately accessible and feel good to listen to while also adding something new or exciting to the already densely packed world of indie pop. Hundreds of layers of vocals, synths, body percussion, synths, guitars, drums, woodwinds - bog berries music shifts between intimate bedroom lofi and almost over the top musical theater rock ballad rather quickly. bog berries is based out of boston and collaborates with many different artists on all tracks making it more like a collective than a band or a single person. Big Dog Tarantula, f.k.a Bux Wild, is a performance artist a musician who loves to boogie and laugh and have a great time and wants nothing more in the world than for you to boogie and laugh and have a great time, too. They are very excited to be DJing all weekend so everyone can throw it back for a great cause. Also it is their birthday so cake emoji etc.

IRISH COLLIE & GREAT DANE

Recent Highlights is the nascent duo project of singer/songwriters Alison Lee and Evan Diem, members of Syracuse-based indie rock band Honey for the Bees. Their clever wordplay, sincere storytelling, and flirtatious stage banter will undoubtedly make up for the fact that neither has ever willingly owned their own dog.

Mr. Angel & Samantha Rose are long-time collaborators, and like two comets colliding, they're coming back together for Juniper Fest to sling some Gritty Pop with Guts your way.  Mr. Angel (of Citrusphere and Ruby Luna and the Fox), now based in Houston, and Samantha Rose (of Ruby Luna and the Fox and in the Naomi Westwater band), based in Boston, are bringing their sonic chemistry--infused with their own personal evolutions--back to the stage for barks, bites & howls you don't want to miss. 

STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER

Tiniqua Patrick is a Vocalist, Arts Administrator, Consultant, and Founder and Lead Producer of Meraki Productions. Tiniqua finds joy in bringing good vibes and a hint of nostalgia during her performances. She is a forever student and finds her vocal home in Jazz, but loves singing everything from Soul to Yacht Rock to Musical Theatre. She is grateful for the opportunity to perform for the BAMS Fest Soulstice series.

For the last nine years, she has been dedicated to producing and curating safe, inclusive, and inspiring events for artists and communities throughout Boston. When she is not working, she is either watching anime, listening to podcasts, or trying to talk people into playing D&D.

SCOTTISH DEERHOUND

Heather Scott (they/them) is a queer singer- songwriter who has been creating folk music with an edge for over a decade. Their songs are a blend of haunted pining and reflective vulnerability that unearths our collective tender underbelly. There is an untamed, contemporary edge to the controlled power of their classical vocal training, and an honesty to their craft. Their most recent release is described as, “epic and intimate, expansive and close to home.” (We Make Noise)
